Nestled in the mountains of Morganton, North Carolina, Glory Mountain Lodge is a place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy time together. Surrounded by the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, our lodge offers a peaceful setting for everything from quiet retreats and meaningful gatherings to weddings, family reunions, and weekend getaways.
More than just a place to stay, Glory Mountain Lodge was created to be a place where people can come together. Whether you're gathering around the table, enjoying the views, exploring the outdoors, or simply taking a moment to rest, there’s space here to make the experience your own.
Who We Are
Rooted in the Christian faith, we are a welcoming lakeside retreat dedicated to providing a peaceful place where people can connect with God, one another, and the beauty of His creation. Surrounded by more than 500 acres of woods, trails, and water, our property is a place to gather, rest, and enjoy the outdoors.
Our lodge provides a warm and inviting setting for retreats, weddings, family gatherings, group events, and special occasions. We want every guest who visits to feel welcomed and have the opportunity to make meaningful memories together.
Guests can experience the beauty of the property through camping, rustic cabins, hiking, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Whether you're spending a weekend with family, gathering with a group, or simply looking for a quiet getaway, there are plenty of ways to slow down and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

We offer kayaking, fishing, and river tubing.
A valid North Carolina fishing license is required to fish at Glory Mountain Lodge & Campground. Please be prepared to provide a physical copy of your license upon request.

Our location includes over 2 miles of hiking trails.

We offer trails for four wheeling. Riders are required to go only 10 mph for safety reasons.

We offer trails for mountain biking. Riders are required to go only 10 mph for safety reasons.

We offer horse shoes, corn hole, croquet, and volleyball.

Visit our Chickentown at the other end of the property. We have approximately 75 chickens that provide eggs to the homeless and families in need.
More than just a place to stay, Glory Mountain Lodge & Campground was created to be a place where people can come together, reconnect, and enjoy time with one another. Our lodge provides a welcoming space for weddings, receptions, meetings, children’s programs, revivals, and other special gatherings, while also serving as a place where our church family comes together for worship.
Come Meet Our Feathered Friends
Take a stroll to the other end of the property and visit our Chickentown, home to approximately 75 happy chickens! Beyond being a fun stop for our guests, our flock has a special purpose—they provide fresh eggs to help support homeless individuals and families in need in our community.
